Fundraising for philanthropic causes through art and science.
40% of revenue is donated to organizations that benefit community and conservation focused causes.
There is a clear discrepancy of resources and opportunities across communities to experience the outdoors and conserve nature. As a small way to bridge this gap, money raised here will support two types of organizations:
- Those that give often under-resourced and under-represented groups outdoor opportunities and experiences.
- Those that work to conserve wildlife and natural habitats.
The illustrations were inspired by experiences in the outdoors and with wildlife. Combining art and science helps to raise awareness about the causes that sales support, and the conservation needs of the animals highlighted in each piece.
Who We Support
40% of the revenue made from sales will be sent directly to causes that benefit often under-resourced groups or conservation efforts. The organizations we aim to support provide resources/opportunities for, but not limited to, LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, Black, Latinx, Indigenous, disabled, women, low-income, under-represented, wildlife rehabilitation, conservation education, land management, and many other groups. Unless note, Frogs for Cause is not affiliated with any of the supported organizations receiving donations.
How We Work
Specific art pieces will fundraise for specific causes, often linked in some way by the animal subject of the art. Fundraising for groups might occur for 1, 2, or 3 months, perhaps for the same group multiple times, or for a single organization if they have an emergency need or specific event. The remaining 60% of revenue will go towards art supplies, sticker/print production costs, and editing software. Over time, our goal is to continually increase the donation amounts as much as possible.
